Platform Features

The Morpheus Labs SEED consists of several features that you can use in combination to tailor to suit your business needs. Our unique features are designed and built to help you with effective project management and higher efficiency.

SOLUTION CENTER

The solution center comprehensively covers the development, testing, deployment, run, and scale applications across physical, virtual, and distributed ledger technologies environments. The solution centre is described as an "end-to-end application development product"

Capabilities include:

  • Collaborative Development Environment (CDE)
  • Application Runtimes
  • Services
  • Use Cases

1. Collaborative Development Environment (CDE)

View and manage all of your applications, workspaces & repositories in one unified dashboard, including blockchain apps, off-chain web apps, databases and runtime stacks.

Consider the Dashboard as the factory on the platform. In the dashboard, you can create repositories, create workspaces based on the repositories or pre-defined technology stacks, and link blockchain networks running inside or outside of the workspace.

CDE enables a collaborative application development environment by sharing workspaces across team members. Organizations and teams can take advantage of this feature as it allows multiple users to work together and use the cloud IDE to co-create applications sharing the provided language services (programming language plug-in), stacks, runtimes, and source repositories. The cloud IDE currently supports both Eclipse and VSCode editors. Some blockchain stacks provide additional IDE software for easier development.

MyRepository provides smooth integration with version control systems such as Gitlab and Github for the source codes that users work with on the platform.

2. Application Runtimes (APPS)

Apps help teams build with greater speed, agility, confidence, and choice. Code in production mode anywhere you choose to build.

3. Services

Enterprises could utilize deeply-integrated platform services for building, deploying, and managing simple or complex applications with ease. The support for a diverse range of services types like distributed storage, databases, integration, digital assets, and key management. The services for enterprises can change the conventional perspectives and boost organizational operations.

4. Use Cases

Use Cases are acting like playbooks to help in accelerating the adoption and faster development from existing solutions. The Use Cases work as task-based graphic workflows that help visualize processes and automatize deployments, connecting disparate platform tools and infrastructure components in a seamless and process-based use.

2. Team Management

This feature assists an organization with role-based access control. Grant explicit management and access rights for the organization team members to the platform's workspaces and blockchain networks. There are two types of access rights for the organization's resources: member and admin.

*Note: This feature may not be available for all tiers

3. Application Library (App Library)

The App Library is an online software store that enables you to find, try or buy, and start using the software on the platform immediately.

The App Library is open to the community. Users that subscribe to our platform can develop using Dashboard/Workspaces and publish apps into the library directly. Morpheus Labs aims to maintain a list of curated applications in the App Library. The Morpheus Labs App Library is using an incentive mechanism, rewarding MITx tokens to users who contribute and keep curated applications in the library.

Besides individual developers, the App Library is designed for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), and Systems Integrators (SIs) who have software products they want to offer to the community network.

4. Blockchain Ops

The Blockchain Ops function allows customers to create, manage and monitor different types of blockchain protocols. You can easily pick up a blockchain from the list and install blockchain nodes or private networks.

In attempting to cover multiple business needs, the platform currently supports the following blockchain protocols:

  1. Ethereum Private Network (POA)
  2. VeChain
  3. Multichain
  4. NEM
  5. NEO
  6. Waves
  7. ICON
  8. Fusion

More blockchain protocols will be on-boarded.
